My Son is 7 today WOW!!!!

Well today my middle son Dylin is 7 years old. Where has the time gone. I can remember like it was yesterday the day we brought him home from the hospital. He was born at the university of Michigan hospital on April 14, 2003 at 4:12 PM he was a whopping 8lbs 7oz and was only 18 1/4 inches. He had the really chubby cheeks and he was such a cuddlier. I had a planned C-section with him and once I held him for the first time I never put him down, he barely spent anytime in the hospital crib things. I knew once we got home after the three day hospital stay I would really have to try hard to give attention to both my boys. His older brother Kelvyn just turned 1 four months before he was born. I wish I would of planned things differently, but I love my kids and I wouldn't change that for anything in the world.

My kids are 8, 7, and 5. I had my first boy (Kelvyn) when I was 20, my second Dylin when I was 21 and my daughter Madyson when I was 23. That calculates out to my boys are 16 months apart and my daughter and middle son are 22 months apart. So to make it sound weirder I had 3 kids in 3 years. I know that is crazy, but I enjoy them being close in age they are really close and enjoy each others company.

Sorry to babble on, hope everyone has a great week.

  1. You should get a super mom award. I too have three children. I had my first one at 18 and the second one at 19. My first two are 19 mths apart. The youngest came along three years later. I can not imagine doing this alone. I really admire your determination and I am so proud of you for going back to school. My hats off to you. You are one strong lady!
